RCIC-guided document preparation for your Express Entry profile and PR application. We help you understand your options and present an accurate, well-organised application — decisions rest solely with IRCC.
Overview
Express Entry is the Government of Canada's online system for managing permanent-residence applications under three federal economic programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).
Candidates create a profile, receive a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, and are ranked in a pool. IRCC issues Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in regular draws — general rounds or category-based rounds targeting specific occupations or French-language ability.

Immigration trends
Recent draws and the 2026–2028 Immigration Levels Plan point to a clear shift toward targeted, category-based selection and in-Canada experience:
The Immigration Levels Plan 2026–2028 stabilises PR admissions at 380,000 per year, with the economic class making up roughly 63% in 2026.
Category-based selection expanded to nine categories for 2026 — including Healthcare & social services, Trades, Education, STEM and Transport (new), plus new categories for senior managers, researchers and skilled military recruits.
Most occupation-based categories now require 12 months of qualifying work experience (up from 6 months in 2025). The agriculture & agri-food category was removed for 2026.
French-language proficiency draws continue to see some of the lowest CRS cut-offs (a recent draw around 409), making French a strong pathway.
Recent CRS cut-offs: CEC around 516–518, PNP 730+, Healthcare & social services around 475 (June 2026). A provincial nomination adds 600 CRS points.
Figures reflect publicly available IRCC data as of mid-2026. Draw results, categories and targets change frequently — always confirm current details on canada.ca.

FAQ
No. Only IRCC issues ITAs, based on the cut-off in each draw. We help you present your profile accurately, but we cannot influence draw results or guarantee an invitation.
IRCC aims to process most complete PR applications within about six months after an ITA, though times vary. Creating a profile and waiting for an ITA can take longer depending on your CRS and the draws.
Not necessarily. Many candidates are invited without a job offer, especially through the Canadian Experience Class or category-based draws. A valid job offer or provincial nomination can increase your CRS.
No one can artificially increase your CRS. We can help you understand which legitimate factors — language, education, provincial nomination and others — may improve your score.
